Security circus

Sometimes you spend more time in the airport than on the airplane. Get in line, wait, move, wait, move, wait, move, shoes off, belts off, lap top out of your carry on bag, heaven help you if you have more than 4 oz of hair shampoo, empty your pockets, hang on to your boarding pass, step this way, step that way and no joking about any of this or else you start all over. Wait, move, wait, move, wait, move
This is the security scene at the Denver airport.

For kids growing up now, hurry up and wait at the airport is now the norm, nice overhead.

WOW! Great airport scene. Always wonder what it might look like to a distant observer. Nice!!!

A fine overhead view of this obnoxious process. I have a replaced hip whose metal always causes me to be pulled aside while my camera and laptop sit way over there with me trying to keep them in sight! Very uncomfortable process...every time!

This is an excellent image because for anyone who had flied in a plane, we've all been there. I like your vantage point, too.

Wow, if you get caught taking pictures on a Belgian Airport, you may end up spending more time there than you care to.
Brave photo!

Oh! Are you at the DNC? This is quite a shot from up here, normally you can't see the whole mess so well. I guess we should be grateful? It's a pain though.

Yes, you're right. Sometimes it's "over", "too much". But on the other side, I can understand.... you never know... safety first. ..

Denver's not as bad as others (LAX anyone?) but still it gives me the jitters thinking about it :) I've accidentally left things in my bag and got through 7 US airports, only to have them found at a Chinese airport, kinda makes you wonder what it's all for?

I agree with Will, Denver seems easy compared to ... say ... Atlanta!

great shot, not least of all because it is totally illegal, so full marks for subversiveness.

I was going to add how it reminded of Andreas Gursky e.g
