Shady time

This clock tower is almost across the street from me. For 15 years I have looked at it but only last week did I 'see' an image in it.

It's funny how we so often fail to see the beauty in the familiar. I know that I've missed thousands of shots of my local surroundings just like this one. A lesson for us all.

Love the shapes this tower creates..and the interesting effects of how light affects the color.
Always amazes me how many times I walk by something without noticing..and then all of a sudden I find something there!
