Memorial 3


Its memorial Day week end in the USA. Over the last few months I have photographed road side memorials along the sides of roads I have travelled. These tend to be for car crash victims. This is the final image in this series. I like this because it represents so much more.
Notice the vineyard in the background..... it looks like thousands of crosses welcoming (in this case) Mark.

Sad business, lives lost on the road. Some of these little ‘shrines’ are loving kept for ages . . others are left to wither.
