In Los Angeles, every bar tender is a want to be actor. Then you get your big break, your first job.
The job, sitting in the back of a Hitachi truck watching a football game.
This truck and 4 more just like it park in differnent places each day with the actors. Oh, yes, Hitachi wants you to notice their new flat screen TV's.
For my regular visitors: I am in a photo slump.... no desire to shoot or look at images. This is after 3 years of shooting constantly most days and updating my web site every 2 or 3 days.
I miss it.... what to do?

Dont feel like you have to take pictures but take them when and as the spirit moves you. You have such a wonderful spirit and a creative way of turning the mundane into the memorable that your creative juices will start to flow again as soon as you lift from yourself the pressure to HAVE TO have more pictures with each being better than the last. No, just share your creative eye and thoughts when you want, and we will all share in your enjoyment!

Hey Rootsap. You still have "IT". Don't worry. "IT" will come back to you when you least expect it. I find when I am in a creative slump it helps to look at other people's writing or photos. It helps inspire me. Another bit of advice I might offer is to try underwater photography...

Pieter I go through the slump every year around this time. Loose inspiration for some reason. As some of the others have posted is exactly what I do. I look at others work, and somehow I do manage to get some inspiration. Don't worry IT WILL come back.

My advice: everyone suffers that from time to time. Don't worry about it, go sit in a corner and wait until it passes. The world will not stop turning, you'll get the desire to shoot again.
As long as you don't stop breathing and your heart keeps on beating everything is OK.
