kayapo Figure

Living in Brazil, the Kayapo were originally a nomadic people and still live in the rainforests using a sustainable slash-and-burn horticulture. Sometime ago when we visited Brazil we bought this clay figure depicting the Kayapo.
The figure is simple but as you study it it says so much about a culture.

A fine object to bring home as a souvenir and to remind one of the visit to another culture. I like the art-work quality of this figure. Very nice shot.
