Mossy twig

We had some wind and rain storms come through the area last week. Picking up some branches and twigs this one caught my eye. Its a very small twig with a little moss growing on it. With the macro lens you can really observe the fungus like growth.

I really like this one, the texture, colors, the bits in focus and out; I have come across similar moss, but have yet to get a satisfactory shot, but this gives me inspiration to try again
