Snow and Fire

3 months ago the fires in Southern California made the news around the world. A very different scene this week. This burnt hilly landscape is now covered by a blanket of snow.
Picture taken at the Tejon Ranch at about the 4000 foot elevation.
.....and on a different subject, I started a brand new counter from NeoWORX today. I like the options and the iPod look. Thanks to a very cool web photo blog called Photogenies where I noticed it. BTW I am honored that she has my blog listed as one that she follows, honored since she is a real pro.

The dusting of snow gives this stark hillside a near beautiful result.
