Tehachapi at the Grapevine
« Previous Main Next »

Between Los Angeles and the San Joaquin Valley are the Tehachapi Mountains. This part of the road is known to the locals as the 'Grapevine' Just a month ago many of these hills were burning. At the 3000 foot level, which this is, it is now covered in snow. This happens perhaps once a year.

Great detail and perspective. You've done a nice job of capturing the cold.

The snow-covered mountains make a spectacular shot...especially with the high viewpoint. Nicely done.

I really like the perspective. I'm a sucker for infinity shots.
