Meet Larry

Meet Larry

Rio Vista is a small sleepy village in the delta area along the Sacramento river. About a 2 hour drive east of San Francisco.

Now.......... MEET LARRY.

Larry is a very high priced criminal lawyer out of San Francisco. Larry loves to hang out in Rio Vista and a lot of Friday evenings he is at a small wine shop. There Larry brings in his own wine for the wine shop patrons to taste. The problem is everything he has is a vintage wine and can not be purchased.

SOLUTION....... Carlos the wine shop owner is the solution. Tell Carlos what wine of Larry's you like and he will try to find something similar. Carlos then opens the bottle.... you taste it.... if you like it you buy it.

Moral of the story ...... I love characters and Larry and Carlos are the real thing

Sounds like a great place to be when they are working in combination like that. You get to taste a really great wine then get treated to an affordable but similar option...what could beat that?

Never really understood the magnetic attraction to wine that some people possess.... I guess I'm just not that way inclined.
He looks like a real character alright with some interesting stories I bet. Wonderful aperture/light Pieter beautifully exposed.

I'm really starting to appreciate the commentaries and accompany images. Thanks for adding your writing to this. I enjoyed the image, simply for it's color and personality but it's very nice to put facts to faces.
