Apples

Its that time of year. About a one hour drive east of Davis, in the Sierra Nevada foothills is a small area known as Apple Hill.
The Apple Hill Growers Association, located in Camino, CA, was once a fledgling association comprised of 16 original ranches. Today it boasts more than 50 ranches including Christmas tree growers, wineries, a micro brewery, Spa and vineyards. So as you can imagine its a great get away for a day.
Speaking of days. Remember 'an apple a day keeps the doctor away'

Looks like a great harvest. It seems funny to be thinking about an apple crop in very late November. Around Ohio they would have long been harvested, and the few left on trees would be very frost damaged. All the apples make a great shot and me very hungry :)

My wife was raised on an apple farm in Quebec, so I've learned to appreciate these finer things in life. A wonderfully colorful capture. Love your crop.

A fine, very natural looking shot of these apples. Great color and detail. Very nice.

Great ! I'm addicted to apples (at least 5 apples a day... and yes, until now, they keep the doctor away... fortunately).

This is one of those photographs that in my opinion, moves the viewer into action. Particularly in this case, I am heading out now to buy some apples just because they look deliious in this photograph. And no, I'm not joking. : )

First u see the color and the perfect apples, a real appetizer; then u notice some damage on the apples surface, and it gets a new perspective.
