Flying bike
« Previous Main Next »

Davis, CA is a university town. Davis is also a bicycle town. Seeing abandoned bikes or bikes parked in unusual places is the norm. In fact as I am typing this I think that topic might make a good photo series

I am totally down with that parking spot. Makes it hard for anyone to openly steal this bike with any relative ease which always annoying when things/property gets stolen.
ISO looks more than 100 or 200.... is it?

A bike sitting around without an owner in Columbus is very quickly a stolen bike!

When I was working in Amsterdam, they were constantly pulling stolen bikes out of the canals. Dozens of them each day.

I think it's a universal 'habit' : A few weeks ago I was in Amsterdam, I saw there the same 'parking places' for bikes. Also In Belgium you can see these 'jokes'...

I think that's a great idea for a series. Davis sounds like my kind of town.

Very interesting way to park the bike. It is like the biker said the bike. "I will be gone a couple of hours, here, I will put you up like this. Now you will have a nice view"
Looking forward to the photo series/essay should you wish to do one.

Looks like Gent.
