Knife Sharpener
« Previous Main Next »

Art in a knife sharpener. Makes an everyday object a subject of art and then you realize the hours spent on designing this. This image is dedicated to Eric who always complains that our knives are dull:)

The key to photography: finding something of interest to shot in our common, everyday world. Seeing beyond seeing. Nice.

Very striking image. I love finding the art in simple things and being a designer myself, I can vouch for the "hours of time spent on designing."

You can never be sure they spent hours designing this. Maybe they just stole the design. Joke.

The blue background is a good contrast of the gun-metal grey foreground and the cnfrontational red. The textures of this abstract image are great.

Sharp knives are a must in the kitchen for anybody who has ever made their living working at a restaurant! --- The sharpener reminds me of a crest for some crazy chef's coat-of-arms :)

I like this a lot, even the texture of the steel is detailed. And the blue background is perfect. Interesting to have two places to sharpen. funny about Eric! :)
